A pen swings, an architecture is outlined. A piece of paper stretches, a city is accomplished. Tracing back the beginning of design. Experiencing the touching feeling of hands.

sketch，扮演設計過程中最關鍵的發想階段，描圖紙上簡單的線條勾勒，手記本上隨性的交叉註記，這些看似寫意的筆觸背後，傳遞著怎麼樣的故事，在設計萌發想法的那最初幾分鐘，到底發生了什麼事？由archicake所策劃的Sketch UP!台灣當代建築師手繪稿聯展，結合台灣18位優異建築師共同展出私家珍藏的手稿記錄，透過一幅幅散發原始設計理念的手繪圖面，讓人一窺建築師的建築設計歷程。

Sketch plays the most important role in design process. Outlines on tracing paper, random marks on notebook, what kind of stories are hidden behind all these freehand style writings? What happened at the very beginning when design concept shapes up? “Sketch up! Exhibition of Taiwanese contemporary architects’ sketches”, presented to you by archicake, collects 18 Taiwanese architects’ precious sketches and enables audience to experience the architecture design process through all these beautiful hand drawings.
